A very warm and friendly welcome awaits you from Richard, Christine and family at Ferndene, a traditional style family run guest house pleasantly situated in beautiful Keswick on Derwentwater. At Ferndene we have seven well appointed and very comfortable bedrooms which have all been recently been refurbished. All en-suite rooms are in an annexe at the rear of the main building, ideal for small groups. There are attractive outdoor sitting areas at the front and rear of the house, just right for outdoor relaxation on those warm days and evenings. Sit and chat or just watch the world go by!

A family run guest house with an extremely friendly and inviting atmosphere, Pitcairn House is owned and run by Heather and Steve who will make every effort to ensure your stay is a relaxing and memorable one. We have a total of 8 pleasantly decorated and tastefully furnished rooms, 5 en-suite and 3 standard. The majority have excellent fell views especially the standard rooms. All the rooms are centrally heated with TV's, tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryers and clock radios. There is a drying room for those days when the weather is a little damp plus we have a secure yard to store bicycles.
