St Johns Pool is the highest indoor heated swimming pool in Britain. Situated in the grounds of the old St Johns Parsonage, in the village of Garrigill on Alston Moor, Cumbria.
When you hire St Johns Pool you get the whole place to yourself, there is a Sauna, Jacuzzi and new this year Hydrojets to keep the kids and big kids entertained.
Please Note: There is NO lifeguard. Children must be closely supervised at ALL times. Maximum of 8 swimmers in main pool (6 with Hydrojets). Children must be supervised by 2 adults with Hydrojets. Maximum of 6 people in the Jacuzzi at one time. Maximum of 4 people in the Sauna at one time.

Now newly refurbished, Garrigill Village Hall offers simple overnight accommodation to walkers and cyclists. It is located at the crossing point of the C2C cycle route and the Pennine Way. The upstairs room can sleep up to eight. Camp beds are provided, but not bedding. Larger groups can also use the main hall which has space for up to 20, sleeping on the floor, (or bring your own camp beds). The kitchen is fully equipped to cater for groups of up to 50. Showers and toilet facilities, a drying room and covered cycle shelter are all available. 50m from village pub, which serves evening meals and can provide breakfasts by arrangement.
