C2C Stanhope - Accommodation

Set in extensive grounds with panoramic views, we created the accommodation for those looking for that perfect relaxing break in open countryside, yet very conveniently located to the centre of Stanhope (1.4 miles), local amenities and the C2C cycle route. We take pride in providing quality, private rooms detached from the house, with mains pressure showers. The Hall offers comfortable, homely accommodation with the personal attention of the proprietors who will attend your requests wherever possible. All our bedrooms are centrally heated - enjoying beautiful views across the countryside. Only a mile or so from the route, it is on a back road loop from Eastgate to Stanhope and is a great place to celebrate your last night in style. Relax by the log fires in the lounge and Baronial Hall Restaurant, why not take advantage of our licensed bar.

The Packhorse Inn is a friendly well established pub located in the market place. Offering a warm atmosphere in the public house and a comfortable stay in the guest rooms available. Family room is en-suite while the twin and double rooms have shared facilities. TV's, tea and coffee making facilities are all as standard, with packed lunches available on request. Situated in the historic market town of Stanhope in County Durham the Packhorse Inn is an ideal stop for C2C cyclists.

Richden Guest House is situated just off the main street in Stanhope where Richard and Denise offer you a warm welcome. The nearest pub is next door, with other facilities such as shops and cafes a short walk away. The accommodation consists of an en-suite double room with Sky TV and tea/coffee making facilities and an en-suite twin room with TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The guest house provides evening meals and packed lunches if requested in advance. With a secure locked yard for bikes and on the C2C route this welcoming guest house is the ideal stopover for anyone undertaking the C2C crossing.
