Built in 1664, the Salutation Inn is a traditional 17th century former coaching inn, set in the quiet Lake District village of Threlkeld. Inside the Salutation you'll find original exposed beams and doors, big open fires, great home cooked food and well kept real ales, mixed with good company - locals and tourists alike. Delicious Home Cooked Bar Meals are served lunchtimes and evenings in the Bar, and all day at weekends. On sunny days, why not relax with a quiet pint on our superb decked south facing beer garden at the rear of the inn, with mountain views in all directions.
