C2C Cycle Route - Holidays & Support

Based in the North East of England we operate great value, bespoke transport for up to 16 people and bicycles.


The Bicycle Transport Co. takes the stress out of your cycling holiday by transporting you safely to the start or from the finish of any of the National Cycle Network routes, including the C2C.


Our trailers are specifically designed to transport bicycles in an upright position so there is no damage.


We can offer advice on all aspects of your holiday ­from equipment to accommodation and we carry tools and some spares for minor repairs.

Stanley Travel are specialists in supplying high quality and safe transfers for you, your bike and your luggage along the C2C route and also throughout the whole of the UK.

Our bike buses can cater for any size of party offering a luggage forwarding facility as well as an emergency recovery service. Our custom built trailers will hold your bikes safely and securely and are fully insured.

We also provide taxis and coaches that are available for hire 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are justifiably proud of the quality, service and value for money we provide and are also pleased to announce our recent “Coach Marque Accreditation” which was awarded to us in January 2009 by the Confederation of Passengers Transport.

Whether you are a family, group of friends, work colleagues, school party or just a couple of mates looking to have a few days away, then we can make sure we adapt the route, daily mileage and number of days cycling to suit your requirements.

We can also provide cycle hire if required.

We'll arrange transfers to the start and end of the ride, book all accommodation and arrange luggage transfers too. We'll also be on hand at the start of the trip, with the route notes and maps specific to your coast to coast trip to chat these through with you and provide an emergency back up service too.

Xplore Britain Cycling, based in County Durham in Northern England, have been offering independent inn-to-inn bike tours along the C2C route (and other areas of Britain) since 1999. We can organise your trip using guesthouse bed and breakfast and hotel accommodation, with luggage transfer, maps and guide book provided as well as a suitable bike with telephone back-up if required.

Our self-guided bicycle tours are planned with plenty of time to set your own pace and enough flexibility for you to enjoy some of the quaint and unique things you will discover. We are happy to alter the grading or number of days to suit your preferred schedule.

We are flexible enough to consider bike hire only options, return transport to the start, and to add extra rest days if you require a longer break to enjoy the spectacular Sea to Sea - Coast to Coast Cycle Route.

CycleActive offers C2C trips on most weekends from April to October.

Established in 1996 we are the only C2C tour operator with the Cumbria Tourism ROAM quality assurance mark. This comes through in the way we run our holidays.

We include everything you need to make your ride run smoothly – bag transfers, accommodation, emergency support, transfers for you to the start/back from the finish and a fabulous afternoon tea with champagne at the end of your trip. We even keep one or two rooms at the guesthouse just so you can shower before you head home.
